1. The service
RestReward is a consumer app that measures rest and recovery — using signals from your wearable and the room you're in — and awards Rest Points for verified rest. It is provided by Citi Wave, Inc. ("Citi Wave," "we," "us"). We may add, change, or remove features over time.
2. Eligibility & your account
You must be at least 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction) to use RestReward. You're responsible for keeping access to your device and account secure. Don't use the service to break the law or to interfere with how it works.
3. Honest rest only
Rest Points are awarded for genuine, verified rest. Attempting to fake, automate, or manipulate sessions (spoofing location, wearables, or sensors) is prohibited and may result in forfeiting Rest Points or losing access.
4. Rest Points
Rest Points are a promotional loyalty balance with no cash value. They are not money, not a financial account, not stored value, and are not redeemable for cash. We may set, change, or expire earning rates, caps, and redemption options; we'll aim to give reasonable notice of material changes. Redeemable rewards are introduced over time as the network grows, and availability is not guaranteed. Rest Points are personal to you and not transferable except as we expressly allow.
5. Privacy
Your use of RestReward is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what we collect (and the much larger set of things we don't). In short: your raw biometrics stay on your device, and we never sell your data.
6. Third parties
RestReward works with wearables, health platforms (Apple Health, Health Connect), and booking partners. Their own terms and privacy practices apply to them. We're not responsible for third-party products or services.
7. No medical advice
RestReward provides wellness and informational features only. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Talk to a qualified professional about health concerns.
8. Location & safety
RestReward uses your device location to recognize where you're resting — for example, a hotel you've arrived at.
Automatic, background location features are off by default and can be turned on only by you, on your own device. These optional features — recognizing when you arrive at a place or a hotel you've booked and automatically starting a rest session, or showing you a local reminder to start one — use background location only after you personally enable them in the app's settings. Unless you have switched one of them on yourself, the app recognizes location only while you are actively using it (in the foreground) and sends no location-based arrival alerts or notifications.
These features live entirely on your device, under your sole control. RestReward has no ability and no authority to enable them for you. There is no server-side switch: we cannot turn them on remotely, on your behalf, at anyone's request, or under compulsion of any kind — including a subpoena, court order, or government or federal directive. The only way any of these features is ever active is if you turned it on yourself on your device, and you can turn it off at any time.
Even when you have enabled an automatic feature, the app will not present alerts designed to be read while you are driving. Do not interact with RestReward while operating a vehicle. You are responsible for using the app safely and in compliance with all applicable laws.
9. Disclaimers & liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, RestReward and its affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
10. Changes & termination
We may update these terms; continued use after an update means you accept the new terms. You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access for violations of these terms.
